Web Services API
The RMFT Web Service enables organizations to integrate RMFT functionality into in-house and third party applications. The integration supports both angles of the file transfer itself and the administration allowing it to be driven via the web service API.
For data transfer, the API allows integrating the functionality of secure and audited file transfer by the application user to the RMFT to be managed and delivered from that point to users or hosts.
For applications that need to administer RMFT users via API, the full set of objects and functionality allowing that is exposed. You can add, modify or delete users to the RMFT servers with the web services API.
The web service architecture consists of a single SOAP web service that provides the various data objects required for the integrating application. The simplicity of the integration makes sure that the integrating application does not require ANY RMFT component installed. The entire functionality is exposed via WSDL in the most standard manner.
