Enhanced Transfer Protocols

In addition to supporting industry-standard protocols, RMFT also provides these popular Enhanced File Transfer protocols: RMFT EFT (FASTCopy), RMFT LFA (SuperFAST), and a Clientless protocol (LiteCopy).

RMFT EFT (FASTCopy)

RMFT's feature-packed EFT protocol offers hundreds of options for enhancing file transfers including secure, guaranteed delivery of terabyte-sized files, bandwidth control, compression and sophisticated scheduling capabilities.

  • Guaranteed and reliable File Delivery of up to 1000 Terabytes over Distributed Networks - RMFT EFT's automatic recovery feature guarantees the transfer and receipt of almost unlimited volumes of data. Checkpoint recovery increases efficiency by resuming transfers from the exact point of failure and not from the beginning of the file, while ensuring the integrity of the files.
  • Airtight Security and Full Administration - RMFT EFT supports MSCAPI and OpenSSL as well as other industry-standard authentication and encryption mechanisms to ensure secure data transfer over the Internet, VPNs and other public networks.
  • Bandwidth Management and Optimization - Large data transfers consume precious network bandwidth, decreasing performance for other users. RMFT EFT provides tools to manage the file transfer operation, limiting bandwidth consumption to a specific data rate or a percentage of overall bandwidth. RMFT LFA optimizes fast networks for increased transfer speed for large files, without comprising security, guaranteed delivery and recovery capabilities. Files are split into an adjustable number of streams, multiplying bandwidth utilization.

RMFT LFA supports adjustment of both disk packet size and network packet size. Packet size adjustability allows users to attain greater speeds by fully optimizing the file I/O interaction across networks and hardware.

RMFT LFA is the preferred protocol for industries that transfer very large files over WANs, such as data storage, film production, media on demand, content delivery, global manufacturing and others.

Clientless Protocol (LiteCopy)

RMFT's platform-independent Clientless protocol enables clientless, firewall-friendly file exchange, for Web-based file transfer.

RMFT's Clientless protocol uses HTTP/S protocol (port 80), making it an ideal solution for organizations unwilling to install third party software or modify network security by opening additional firewall ports. RMFT Clientless Protocol guarantees data integrity by enabling transfer recovery from the exact point of failure while enabling a secured file transfer.

Supporting ActiveX for enhanced performance and functionality on Windows platforms and Java, RMFT Clientless protocol is universally compatible with all computing environments, no matter how diverse.
