An ever-dynamic mesh of servers, remote offices, laptops, kiosks, and cloud infrastructures presents many challenges in the way of managing dataflow and application footprints. Gaps in management processes can lead to impediments in information access, application availability and business readiness.
To simplify deployment administration across these large deployment fabrics, RCM allows IT to associate independent nodes (servers, laptops, etc.) with policy-based 'Group(s)'; the nodes within each 'Group' then inherit relevant job configurations, tasks and application/content footprints. Once joined, the group-enabled nodes carryout their defined automation and replication processes to assure the flow of critical data.
In addition to simplified administration, RCM adds reliability, acceleration, and automation to replication processes, regardless of files sizes or subfolder complexity. RCM also offers a wide range of scheduling, real-time, and recovery capabilities that ensure information availability and accessibility.
