Enterprise File Replication
As a software-based file replication content deployment platform, R-1 is simple to install, manage, and maintain.
Engineered with stability and performance in mind, it easily handles large, complex content structures and hundreds of concurrent jobs to production servers scattered across LAN and/or WAN environments. Its open architecture, multiple user interfaces, flexible scheduling (with real-time replication), and ability to run on cross platforms, position R-1 as the most flexible file replication and content deployment platform available.
A high-level, non-intrusive application, R-1 can be installed on production servers without rebooting or taking applications offline. R-1 doesn't require dedicated hardware and features remote management and control interfaces to improve publishing process performance by resolving the minimum amount of data that needs to be transferred to targets. In addition to updating new content, R-1's true edge synchronization deletes expired content from target machines.
R-1's default synchronization logic is to mirror a target directory with a source directory. Some situations-purge logic and backup logic-are better suited for other synchronization logic.
The deployment process is completely secure, enabling encryption and authentication, trusted IP addresses, subnets, users and schedules, and the total anonymity of user/password/directory information from one host to another, thus allowing for secure transport between untrusted networks.
