Web User Interface - Accountability
Enabling the Non- Privileged Users Restricted Publishing Rights
The RepliWeb R-1 Web User Interface is a web-based user interface to execute, approve, and monitor content deployment processes. Content deployment is characterized by different roles and responsibilities. Where the IT admin is in charge of setting up the policies and granting permissions, the content owners are in fact responsible for the actual "go ahead" of the deployment process. Content owners can be different individuals or groups in the organization, in charge of specific parts like web content, metabase configuration, or pieces of the application codes.
With the web interface, the administrator is able to offer those deployment customers control over their specific processes. Being web based, it requires no installation by the end user.

The end users connect via a secured web UI where they can launch, on-demand, the deployment process they were granted permission for, preview changes that are about to be made, approve them for transfer and if required approve them to be applied after being deployed. With the process execution, the web interface lets the content owner monitor its own processes and be immediately aware of any problem. This entire process is audited in the deployment jobs execution reports.
