Process Continuity
Mission-critical systems rely on constant accessibility. Enterprise web infrastructure works in a 24/7/365 environment and R-1 offers two key features to meet this need; Rollback and Failover.
Rollback
R-1's Rollback effectively undoes previous content updates to target system, and rolls them back to a user-specified "point in time". Any content, code or IIS configuration change can rolled back to a previous state. This allows system administrators to undo updates from one-time, scheduled, or continuous update R-1 jobs. What's the R-1 difference? The benefit of such a system over a simple files "archiving" is that R-1 offers you the ability to specify a time relative to the targets (e.g., 8 hours ago) and systematically undo the effects of all scheduled or event-driven changes that were replicated.

Failover
Your central staging server for all deployments can be a dangerous single point of failure. R-1's Failover feature mirrors all R-1 configuration files and jobs information to a standby server that acts as a failover server when the need arises.
