RepliWeb Joins SharePoint Interoperability Standards Architecture (SISA) Group

SISA seeks to establish a unified standard for third-party SharePoint application developers.

RepliWeb, a leader in application infrastructure software for SharePoint and Web environments, today announced that it has joined the SharePoint Interoperability Standards Architecture (SISA) Group. RepliWeb's VP Products, Shai Cohen, will also join SISA's Board of Directors.

RepliWeb's portfolio of software solutions enables enterprises to meet stringent business standards for managing and governing the deployment of digital IT assets throughout distributed computing environments. RepliWeb looks forward to extending its expertise to strengthen SISA's mission of establishing and upholding standards for software interoperability.

RepliWeb's participation in SISA is driven by Shai Cohen, Vice President of Products with RepliWeb. Mr. Cohen manages RepliWeb's global product development initiatives and has personally guided RepliWeb's development of ROSS for SharePoint infrastructures. ROSS is a feature-rich deployment automation and replication solution for multi-stage (Dev-Test- Prod) environments.

"With SharePoint's rapid growth as a business critical collaboration platform for the enterprise and the web, introducing unified standards makes a lot of sense," commented Shai Cohen. "RepliWeb is honored to join the SISA organization and looks forward to contributing to best practices and standards that will ultimately improve the way organizations implement and integrate solutions into SharePoint frameworks."

"RepliWeb's long standing history in the enterprise application market and its broad technology experience will be of great value to our Board," said Danny Boulanger, Chair of the SISA committee.
