Using RDS' Command Line Interface (CLI) submit a single RDS command with the appropriate qualifiers (found in the RDS documentation or in the Reference Library) for replicating UNIX links, hidden files, CPU control, and temporary transfer directory. This command can include scheduling options to automatically replicate on a daily, hourly, or fixed basis. |

If the systems are separated by a firewall, ensure that the appropriate ports are configured to allow the replication to proceed. |
