without the need for an Initialization Phase

R-1 is deployed in some of the most demanding IT environments. Its not uncommon for us to hear from Customers, who boast about running R-1 synchronizations with sub-directories that are seven to ten layers deep and contain millions of files. A common request from some of our high-volume eCommerce implementations was the ability to run a Continuous Update job without the need to run an initial snapshoot. Although there are many benefits in running a snapshot, special situations demand an immediate deployment of files.
