Scheduling R-1 Jobs from Corporate Scheduler

RepliWeb: File Replication and File Synchronization for Content Deployment and Distribution.
The Challenge:

Integrate R-1 into existing distributed systems environments. Corporates requiring production-scheduling capabilities across the enterprise from a single point of control, can also schedule R-1 Jobs and simplify job scheduling.

The complete environment provides advanced production-scheduling capabilities across the enterprise from a single point of control.

Scheduling content distribution from a corporate scheduler

Scheduling Server and R-1 Console

The Solution: Scheduling R-1 Jobs from Corporate Scheduler

R-1 enables fast, scheduled replication and distribution of files and directories over networks, regardless of content, volume, or production and networking environment, transparently replicating data between Windows and UNIX systems. This allows R-1 to publish Web sites, distribute content over corporate servers, and more.

R-1's Templates capabilities allow defining Replication and Distribution jobs at one place and re-using those to Replicate and Distribute data using a different Console or Commands Line (CLI).

Distribution cycle time is kept to a minimum using R-1's Comparative Snapshot Technology (CSTTM) where only the changes are transferred. Using Differential Transfer options for large files, R-1 supports block level updates of large files.

R-1 guarantees accurate and secured data transfer - encrypted and authenticated. Other features include control over network bandwidth usage, transparent compression of data sent over the network, and rich reporting capabilities.

Using the R-1 Console, monitoring can be performed from any where on the network, either from the corporate scheduler or from different machine, from which the default setting would be defined. The corporate scheduling machine will submit the jobs on the Center based on the information saved earlier from the R-1 Console.
