CST - Replication Technology

Source and Target Replication Directory Trees

Implementing CST^TM (Comparative Snapshot Technology), information on the source and target directory trees is gathered. This process runs locally on each machine (Controller and Satellite) and is not based on remote access of any kind, thus achieving excellent performance with large volumes of data.

The interim result is a directory snapshot of each machine.

The Satellite's snapshot is then passed to the Controller for comparison.
