Immediate Openings - Software Support Engineer
Position: Software Support Engineer
Location: North American Office
Responsibilities:
Respond to technical software support inquiries and pre-sales questions via email and telephone about RepliWeb's Web Content Deployment Platform and Managed File Transfer software products.
Software Support Engineer assesses Clients needs, analyzes problems, recommends solutions and advises on best practices for implementation and use of RepliWeb products in production environments.
This is a Full Time Position with working hours of 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM EST, M-F.
Job Experience Requirements:
- 3+ Years work experience in a Software Support Position (supporting customers).
- Experience working with Large Enterprise environments.
- Ability to communicate with Senior IT Administrators.
- Proven understanding and experience in Windows/LINUX/UNIX and Networking - TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, and Permissions.
- Sharp troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Working knowledge of Web Server Environments, Exchange, FTP/SFTP and Data Backup Procedures.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to understand & develop solutions with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
- Must be proactive, independent thinker, with a willingness to "step outside the box" and take responsibility for decisions.
- Comfortable in dynamic, fast paced, emerging company environment.
- Fluent in French or German
